The Sleep and Chronobiology Center (SCC) is an internationally-recognized research and training center for advancing our understanding of sleep and circadian biology and their effects on health and functioning. The mission of the SCC is to improve public health through research, training, and dissemination of sleep and circadian science. One way we accomplish our mission is by conducting innovative, multidisciplinary research examining the biological, behavioral, and psychosocial mechanisms and consequences of sleep, sleep disturbances, and circadian rhythms. 

The employee will be assisting the team in preparing for and facilitating visits with participants; will perform data collection and entry; and will be responsible for the screening and interviewing of participants.

This position will work daylight shifts, with some evenings, nights, and weekends required.

Perform research related functions in support of a grant funded research project.

  • Perform entry level research related functions in support of a research project(s).
  • Perform more advanced clerical and/or data entry responsibilities.


  • High school diploma or GED required. 
  • Some college preferred.  
  • Familiarity with computers and common software packages required. 
  • Knowledge of research methodology strongly preferred.  
  • Prior research experience preferred.

Licensure, Certifications, and Clearances:
  • Act 34 Criminal Clearance
