Purpose:
UPMC Health Plan is looking for a full time Client Engagement Coordinator at the US Steel Tower!

The member engagement team are the creators of most of the marketing material that gets into UPMC members’ hands.  We work directly with subject matter experts and use our expertise to translate difficult messages into easy-to-understand communications.  Being a Client Engagement Coordinator means that this person will be exposed to and play a part in developing materials that could play a pivotal role in getting members healthy or preventing an illness before it happens.

This position assists the campaign manager in planning, executing, and recapping campaigns, projects, marketing initiatives and one-off requests. The role is heavy on the execution with the opportunity to add other, higher-level tasks when he/she proves they can master the day-to-day tasks assigned to them.  The campaign manager provides as much opportunity to learn and grow as they’re willing to take on.  It would be helpful for the incumbent to have experience with some or all of the following (but not limited to) direct mail, printing, email marketing, digital marketing, social media, event planning, retail, strategy, advertising, public relations, communications, radio, tv, etc.  This person should be a “people-person” and able to communicate with others in medical/technical areas.  Building relationships is key.  Project management experience is preferred.

Responsibilities:
  • Build and manage the strategic plan and deliverables to retain group clients.
  • Coordinate resources and development activities to meet project objectives both on time and on budget
  • Create and execute client engagement plans as identified by account management that engage, educate and retain clients, drive demand, and support revenue and business goals.
  • Ensure adequate supplies of all client giveaway items are on hand and available when needed
  • Ensure coordination and clear communication among constituents on all activities
  • Identify and detail appropriate activities that drive sales and support retention
  • Support the account managers with meeting and document preparation, production and delivery

Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree or equivalent experience in marketing, business development or sales support required 
  • Three to five years experience in sales, marketing or account management preferred 
  • Healthcare and/or insurance experience-preferred 
  • Excellent interpersonal, organizational, written and oral communication skills 
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines concurrently 
  • Demonstrated leadership skills, initiative and ability to work independently 
  • Ability to interface with all levels of management 
  • Good computer skills.

Salary Range: $20.60 to $35.57
