This positions will support TPA professional and leadership staff to gain operational efficiencies by identifying and addressing process improvement opportunities. You will support small to medium scale TPA Claim Operational projects and initiatives, as well as easy to intermediate specification extractions of claims and performance data for reports, trends and analysis. You will work standard business hours Monday through Friday with evening, weekends and holidays as needed. Best of all, you can potentially career path yourself into more responsibility and increased earnings

  • Ability to explain results of analysis/results/findings to a non-technical audience including internal and external stakeholders such as TPA leadership and TPA clients
  • Communicate effectively and regular with other staff, managers, and director
  • Effectively prioritize and complete all assigned tasks
  • Ensure report reconciliation of claim adjustment projects for accuracy and completion
  • Generate accurate and thorough basic to intermediate reports for effective trending and analysis
  • Identify areas of concern that may compromise client satisfaction through data analysis, and propose solutions based on findings, expertise, research
  • Keeps abreast of all pertinent guidelines, products, regulatory, compliance, policy and procedures
  • Provide quality and accurate outcomes that meet expected deadlines/turnaround times
  • Responsible for TPA SharePoint Sites - functionality, maintenance, design, training
  • Serve as TPA Claim liaison to clients and internal departments
  • Serve as TPA Claims process and knowledge expert
  • Serve as a positive extension of the TPA leadership team
  • Successfully manage assigned projects and initiatives.
  • Thorough understanding of TPA clients' performance expectations, department goals and objectives; and aligns responsibilities accordingly


  • Bachelors Degree and/or equivalent education or work experience.
  • 2 years operations health insurance and/or customer service experience required. 
  • Strong analytical skills preferred.
  • Ability to operate independently: exhibiting independent decision making in a fast paced environment dealing with a high level of ambiguity. 
  • Strong time management skills. 
  • Excellent documentation, organization, interpersonal, and written communication skills. 
  • A professional demeanor with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines required. 
  • Competent in Microsoft Office; Excel, Word, Visio, PowerPoint Ability to learn SharePoint Designer Software within the first 6 months 
  • Ability to learn basic report generation/claim data extraction within the first 6 months 
  • Third Party Administrator experience is preferred.
  • Previous claims processing experience strongly preferred.
