Description

Mon Yough Community Services, a behavioral health services provider located in McKeesport, PA, is hiring a full-time Business / Data Analyst to help support the Clinical Data Administrator/Quality Director with a variety of projects related to outcomes and quality improvement, with a focus on data collection, analysis and reporting of school-based programs and services. The position will also assist in identifying, tracking, and reporting of process and outcome measures related to program activities; perform quantitative and qualitative analysis of data from multiple data sources; and help program staff interpret and use data to inform decision-making about program planning, delivery, and improvement.


Responsibilities:
  • Quantitative and qualitative analysis of data related to behavioral health utilization and outcomes.
  • Trend analysis of key performance indicators.
  • Monitoring and analysis of data for quality improvement plans/activities.
  • Create and maintain data collection / tracking spreadsheets and reports
  • Run and analyze reports from various electronic health records systems/platforms.
  • Collaborate with other internal and external resources on data collection, analysis and reporting.
  • Provide analytical support for ad-hoc projects as requested by management.
  • Maintain and protect patient, client, and agency confidentiality.
  • Collaborate with other internal and external resources on business line quantitative analysis. 
  • Demonstrate support of Agency mission and Philosophy in delivery of services.
  • Endeavor to achieve and maintain quality and customer satisfaction in the delivery of services to internal/external customers.
  • Experience with regulatory and legislative movements that drive reimbursement within the government healthcare sector payers.
  • Maintain and protect patient, client, and Agency confidentiality.
  • Provide analytical support for ad-hoc projects requested by management on an as needed basis.
  • Provide assistance in trending KPI's to assist in appropriate use of business intelligence and clinical support teams.
  • Quantitative research associated with business lines and services as directed.
  • Trend analysis of key performance indicators associated with service lines of business.

Qualifications

  • Bachelors Degree with a preferable educational background in Finance, Economics, or Computer Science with a minor in Finances or Economics is required. 
  • Two years of experience in a related analytical field is required. 
  • Experience in query development and report writing is preferred.
  • Knowledge of / experience with STATA preferred.
  • Exposure to the healthcare field in an administrative or revenue cycle (reimbursement) capacity is desirable. 
  • Must have excellent oral and written skills and be able to communicate complex business models to peers and management. 
  • Teamwork and task sharing skills are essential to the success of this position. 
  • Access to transportation in the Agency service area with valid Pennsylvania drivers license and auto liability insurance.
