The Environmental Services Associate cleans all aspects of assigned areas, including patient rooms, public areas, offices and equipment, to meet Department standards in order to promote the quality of care rendered in the environment.  They also move equipment, furniture, boxes, etc. and remove and hang blinds and curtains.


This is a Regular Full-Time position with shifts from 3:00 p.m. to 11:30 p.m. Availability to work every other weekend/holiday is required.


 This position is based out of Cranberry Place. Cranberry Place is a skilled nursing and rehabilitation facility centrally located in the heart of Cranberry Township.   • Clean all assigned areas, including patient rooms, public areas, toilets, procedure rooms, offices and equipment, following established procedures.
  • Follow all safety and sanitation regulations.
  • Inspect and ensure that all assigned areas are properly cleaned and in good repair, report problems to the supervisor.
  • Maintain assigned equipment in clean, working condition, reporting problems and suggestions to the supervisor.
  • Make beds, following established cleaning procedures in all residents' rooms.
  • Move equipment, furniture, boxes, wash walls, spot carpets, etc. as assigned.
  • Remove trash from all assigned areas.
  • Replenish paper towels, toilet paper, and soap in all locations of assigned areas to assure adequate supply.
  • Report to the kitchen in serving uniform at designated time for each meal. . Serve meals according to the Food Service Guidelines Manual. Bus tables, removing all place settings, and sanitize tables and chairs after meals. Deliver trays to residents' rooms when necessary
  • Responsible for laundering residents' linens and facility uniforms and rags on a daily basis.



  • HS Diploma/GED or one year previous job experience required in lieu of HS Diploma/GED or successful completion of the 5-week EVS training program.
  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions in order to successfully complete housekeeping duties.
  • Ability to use housekeeping equipment. 
  • May in the course of duties be in rooms where medications are stored. No contact with medications is allowed.

    Licensure, Certifications, and Clearances:
  • Act 34 Criminal Clearance
  • Older Adult Protective Services Act

Salary Range: $12.87 to $19.55 / hour
