Description
Purpose:
Provide highly accurate central data entry for the system including foundation table set up, processing of on line transactions, required corrections, etc. Identify system and/or entry issues. Identify opportunities remove customizations and to gain efficiencies.
Responsibilities:
- Advise management of problems and issues related to PeopleSoft HCM, My Hub, LMS and uLearn and/or related business processes as they arise and assist in resolution of those issues.
- Assist with HRIS Technical requests as needed
- Communicate with appropriate groups prior to making corrections in the system and understand how corrections affect other areas.
- Develop and sustain a collaborative rapport within and outside of the department to investigate issues, suggest process improvements across functions, and resolve issues in a timely manner.
- Direct requestors to the appropriate information (policy, procedure, etc.) when data submitted does not meet with system standards.
- Generate and run audit reports using query as needed.
- Learn and assist in the testing of new releases of PeopleSoft and payroll software applications as needed. Identify issues and potential efficiencies to be gained in new applications.
- Maintain average error rate of less than 1.5% over a rolling 12 month period.
- Monitor requests for errors, inconsistencies, and transactions that are unable to be processed.
- Must maintain confidentiality at all times.
- Perform centralized PeopleSoft data entry including processing of approved automated transactions, updating those with error statuses, maintaining the department organization structures and approval paths, setting up contingent workers, processing hires/rehires/promotions/demotions/transfers/pay rate changes and any corrections to data as needed.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Two years related experience required, preferably in Human Resources .
- Must have good communication skills Attention to detail, assessment, problem solving skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks required.
- Good working knowledge of PeopleSoft or similar package required.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and PC skills are required.
- Knowledge of work processing and spreadsheet software packages preferred
