We have both daylight and evening Food Service Attendant positions available. We are looking to fill Casual positions that require some weekend/holiday availability.

  • Responsible for creating an enjoyable dining experience for residents and their guests.
  • Follows established style and order of service while serving in the main dining room, Cafe and at special functions.
  • Responsible for safely dishing up of desserts, baking rolls and preparing fresh fruit, in accordance with health regulations.
  • Follow all safety and sanitation rules and regulations.
  • Possess the ability to follow instructions, work well with others and maintain a good rapport with residents.
  • Responsible for completion of cleaning assignments.
  • Refer all problems to supervisor.
  • Follow rules concerning personal appearance and work performance.
  • Promote clean, safe, and neat environment for residents, self, and staff.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of fire safety procedures, and assists with evacuation of residents to a safe location in the event of fire or other emergency.
  • Maintain confidentiality of residents' personal and medical record information.
  • Cooperate with the staff of other departments in performing job duties.
  • Attend all mandatory in-service programs.
  • Attend all departmental meetings.
  • Completes all mandatory annual training via My HUB.
  • Assists in training of new Food Service Attendant employees under the direction of the Dining Services Manager or Dining Room Supervisor.


  • High school diploma or GED preferred, or currently completing required studies.
  • Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Sound mental and physical health.
  • Ability to get along well with others, to demonstrate flexibility and patience, to work as a member of a team, and to demonstrate a High level of sensitivity and interest in people, especially older adults
  • Older Adult Protective Services Act
  • Act 34 Criminal Clearance
