Description

The Executive Recruitment team at UPMC is looking for an organized, proactive, Talent Acquisition Assistant who will thrive in our fast-paced and highly-collaborative environment. The TAA must have strong communication skills, be attentive to details, and possess the ability to work effectively with all levels of employees and candidates. Confidentiality and the ability to prioritize tasks are critical in this role.



As a Talent Acquisition Assistant, you will provide customer service and administrative support for recruitment and employment related tasks. This includes processing advertising requests and tracking expenditures, planning and attending job fairs/ hiring events, scheduling interviews, sourcing, and other duties as needed. Our Talent Acquisition Assistants work with a wide range of internal customers at all levels as well as external candidates seeking opportunities so strong customer services skills are required. 


 

This position is a long-term contract role that works full-time, daylight hours at the US Steel Tower. There is a potential opportunity for occasional work from home days. 



Responsibilities:



  • Assist Executive Recruiters in scheduling candidate interviews and travel


  • Ensure process compliance in accordance with departmental policies and procedures


  • Follow-up of all new hire documentation to fulfill the specifications of the federal, state and local governments along with meeting the requirements and standards of the UPMC


  • Manage invoicing, expenses and candidate reimbursements


  • Responsible for building a culture rooted in Dignity and Respect and for holding team members accountable to the same


  • Serve as point of contact for general candidate, employee, and customer inquiries


Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Business or a related field required OR a high school diploma or equivalent with one year of progressively responsible administrative experience required (preferably in a talent acquisition environment);

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Outlook and Excel preferred

Salary Range: $14.12 to $22.16 / hour
