Job Description/Summary/Objectives:

University of Pittsburgh Physicians seeks a Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Physician in Allegheny County, Pennsylvania to enhance and restore functional ability and quality of life to those with physical impairments or disabilities; including patients with injuries to the muscles, bones, ligaments, or nervous system; document all aspects of care directly administered; consult and communicate with surgeons, patients, family members and other staff; and serve as Medical Director, developing and overseeing clinical inpatient rehabilitation services, for Rehabilitation Institute/Program.

Job Responsibilities: 

- Enhance and restore functional ability and quality of life to those with physical impairments or disabilities, including patients with injuries to the muscles, bones, ligaments or nervous system;
- Document of all aspects of care directly administered;
- Consult and communicate with surgeons, patients, family members and other staff;

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications and Licensure/Certification:

-M.D./D.O./foreign degree equivalent; completion of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation residency program; Board Certification in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation; and PA license.
