This is a Part Time position working 7A-330P.
Responsibilities:
- Floor care as required throughout the facility.
- Assess and complete all work orders in a timely manner.
- Daily removal of all trash throughout the building and removal of garbage to outside dumpsters while maintaining cleanliness and safety in those areas.
- Anticipates and takes action to maintain a safe environment. Incorporates safety/risk management standards into daily work practices.
- Maintains safe working conditions for the facility by making or assuring timely repairs.
- Reports any suspected or known resident abuse to Director of Nursing or Administrator immediately.
- Follows established safety policies and procedures.
- Performs preventive maintenance as directed.
- Maintains the interior and exterior of facility as appropriate and/or directed.
- Ensures the performance, condition, reliability of all plumbing, mechanical and electrical equipment to ensure efficient operation of all equipment.
- Participates in performance improvement activities. Attends all mandatory in-services.
Qualifications
High School graduate or equivalent preferred.
Some experience in health care facility building maintenance preferred.
Working knowledge of building codes and safety regulations preferred
