Description
This integral role provides physician compensation plan development by interpreting physician employment agreements and creating reports to support incentive distributions including, but not limited to, calculating physician performance relative to defined objectives and benchmarks, calculating corresponding compensation and bonuses, production of performance reports and financial statements as well as responding to physician inquiries as defined in each physician’s employment agreement.
This position will assist the Medical Group Administration President, VP’s, Directors, and Managers with annual budgeting of compensation as well as create, utilize and manage EPIC revenue cycle reporting to support the team initiatives.
- Prepare Physician incentive accrual for monthly journal entries.
- Assist in information gathering for various management reports.
- Create, utilize and manage EPIC reporting to support the team initiatives.
- Create and maintain accurate physician compensation financial calculations for each group of physicians assigned using Excel and other tools required.
- Respond directly to physician inquiries and requests in a timely and professional manner, exercising discretion and judgement
- Gather information as needed for management and for external sources to determine FMV (fair market value) for provider compensation contracting
- Coordinate administrative tasks, special projects and training programs as assigned.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or related business field required.
- Minimum of six months of related work experience preferred.
