Description

UPMC Pinnacle is currently hiring for a Cash Management/Reconcil. Specialist I at the Camp Hill Bypass location. This position will be under direct supervision and performs assigned tasks in daily deposit reconciliations. Responds to basic service requests. Loads file and runs basic reports and provides other clerical support as needed.

Responsibilities:
  • Performs month-end reconciliation for assisgned entities - Runs variance reports and does fo;low up to resolve outstanding issue in the next month.
  • Balances 835 files of ACH deposits to identify deposits that did not load to ReconNet and subsequently creates manual entries for them.
  • Reconciles Insurance and Self Pay payment postings to deposits in the bank
  • Handles return checks, Ach Debits and credit card charge-backs by identifying original entries, reversing payments and notifying appropriate entities.
  • May be assigned to complete basic journal entries based on miscellaneous deposits and bonus/incentive monies
  • Maintain indeividual reconciliations for more than one bank and/or billing system and keeping legacy system vs new system reconciliations separate.
  • Support the Patient Financial Support Services office
  • Review outstanding bank or posted transactions in ReconNet. Determine root cause of unreconciled transactions and enter/change transaction data as identified to resolve issue
  • Create lockbox batches for manual posting using Excel spreadsheet and banking downloads
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • Bachelors' degree in Business/Finance or other business related skill and up to 1 year of finance/cash management experience 
  • or Associates' degree in Business/Finance or other business related skills and 2 years of cash management/finance experience 
  • or High School Degree and 4 years of Finance or Cash Management exp. required.

Licensure, Certifications, and Clearances:
  • Act 33 with renewal
  • Act 34 with renewal
  • Act 73 FBI Clearance with renewal
