Description
To provide coordination and support for special projects and daily activities for the department.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain accurate records of project spending and funds available.
- Coordinate the daily activities and special projects for department.
- Coordinate scheduling of assessments.
- Assist with quality assurance over all aspects of data collection and management, including data flow, data entry and verification, maintenance of all project databases, data security and confidentiality.
- Provides regular supervision for junior staff.
- Responsible for preparing and modifying IRB protocols, Regulatory Binders, and Standard Operating Procedures.
- Communicate effectively with the research, clinical, and administrative staff related to this research.
- Coordination of recruitment ie. Advertisements, tracking recruitment, and developing strategies to increase response in targeted populations.
- Responsible for the submission of regular reports detailing the progress of the research, including NIH progress reports.
- Perform in accordance with system-wide competencies. - Perform other duties as needed.
- Assist as needed with study documentation. Assist with recruiting subjects into multidisciplinary research project. Assure appropriate numbers of subjects in ongoing protocols.
- Code psychological and physiological data, and score interviews and questionnaires. Assure accuracy and completeness of data collected on subjects.
- Code data, prepare data for data entry, perform data entry, and perform data editing. Assure the accuracy and completeness of data files.
- Maintain communication with study participants and other research personnel.
- Oversee other research staff as needed
- Conduct psychological and physiological research protocols, administer interviews, and maintain subject contact during research protocol.
- Assist with maintaining the laboratory and laboratory equipment in appropriate condition and ensure adequate laboratory supplies.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in psychology, sociology, business administration or related area of study and three years of relevant research and/or clinical experience is required.
