Description


The Facilities Representative assists UPMC and its' customers by providing prompt processing and fulfillment of office supplies, facilities and environmental services.

Responsibilities:
  • Select/redistribute/arrange supplies as needed from storage facilities/deliveries.
  • Clean daily all assigned areas including offices, conference rooms, board rooms, bathrooms, stafflounges, kitchen/prep area and administrative/executive offices. This includes but is not limited to removing trash, stocking, cleaning and removing food from conference space when served.
  • Set up conference rooms (remove/place wall partitions) in designated areas
  • Coordinate, set up and fulfill the facilities requests and office supply services ,including but not limited to the following: Office/cubicle keys, cleaning supplies (distribution, tracking, and ordering). Keep store rooms neat and orderly.
  • Remain current on all departmental policies and procedures.
  • Assist in staffing/equipment moves and other maintenance request scheduling.
  • Place posters and signage in all communication boards in staff lounges
  • Break down boxes for recycling in designated areas or as supplies are delivered.
  • Provide exemplary customer service by being proactive and responsive to all customer requests in a professional, timely and accurate manner.
  • Ensure that quality customer service is a priority and is practiced on a daily basis.

Qualifications

  • High school graduate or equivalent preferred. 
  • Three years' housekeeping/environmental experience (hospitality, general office cleaning).
  • Ability to work independently or in a team setting.
  • Basic analytical skills necessary to evaluate customer inquiries. 
  • Good organizational skills.
