UPMC Altoona is hiring a Registered Nurse to help support its Operating Room!
Our OR consists of 12 surgical suites, 1 procedure room, and 1 cysto room. We see an average of 800 cases a month, and we do specialties including heart, neuro, and robotics. We are staffed 24/7 for trauma. Join our team to grow in your OR career!
As a member of this team you will provide direct and indirect care to patients utilizing the nursing process, provide leadership for the nursing team, and contribute to the education of a variety of members of the staff and students.
Responsibilities:
- Document/records appropriate information required in performance of responsibilities in relation to the job description.
- General nursing ability.
- Demonstrates knowledge and ability to adapt to clinical treatment and instructional aspect of care to all stages of the life cycle and to various states of health and disease.
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year experience.
Licensure, Certifications, and Clearances:
CPR required based on AHA standards that include both a didactic and skills demonstration component within 30 days of hire
