Description

Manage the complete review of all packing slips and mixing reports, compound confirmation of drugs, delivery confirmation and posting of all orders, completion of payor coverage profile, and completion of billing adjustment logs.

Responsibilities:

  • Prioritize activities needed to be done.
  • Completion of Pre-Bill checklist.
  • Make sure that work meets quality standards.
  • Perform Delivery Confirmation and posting of orders to billing.
  • Cooperate with other staff members when planning and organizing reimbursement activities.
  • Completion of Payor Coverage Profile as needed.
  • Perform Compound Confirmation.
  • Take initiative to present ideas/suggestions to management.
  • Daily review of packing slips and batch records for billing.
  • Review and completion of Adjustment Logs.
  • Give high priority to client satisfaction and customer needs.
  • Utilize appropriate communication lines in relaying problems, concerns, questions and ideas.
  • Work effectively and maintain expected productivity.
  • Completion of Drug Exchange Log, Inventory Control Log etc.
  • Month End Process.
  • Work Standards.

 

Qualifications

  • High school diploma required. 
  • Previous home infusion and/or billing/collections experience preferred.
  • Pharmacy Technician experience preferred. 
  • Knowledge of HCPCS coding preferred. 
  • Analytical and detail oriented.

    Licensure, Certifications, and Clearances:
  • Act 34
