Do you have prior restaurant or food service experience?  If so, you may be a good fit for our Dishwasher position with our UPMC Headquarters Kitchen.

This is a regular, full-time position that primarily works between 6:00am-2:30pm, Monday through Friday.  Off-shift hours may be scheduled as needed by the department.

In this role, you will be responsible for cleaning and sanitizing equipment in the department, and any other related duties as assigned.  The ideal candidate has prior experience and great customer service skills.  If this sounds like a fit for you, apply online today!

  • Clean and sanitize equipment in the department (such as, but not limited to, pot machine, dish machine, supply closet, grills, hoods, can openers, grease trays, fryers, ovens, broilers, carts, warmers, convection steamers, refrigerators, sinks, pot racks, etc.) utilize specialized cleaning chemicals.
  • Assist in training of new employees.
  • Sweep and mop floors throughout the department, as assigned, follow established procedures.
  • Clean and sanitize pots, pans, utensils and other equipment used in the kitchen, as assigned, following established procedures.
  • Follow all safety and sanitation regulations.
  • Maintain paper towel and soap dispensers throughout the department and sanitizes these areas according to procedure.
  • Clean and sanitize dishes and related service ware, as assigned, follow established procedures.
  • Collect and remove trash from all areas of the department, as assigned, follow established procedures.


  • High school diploma or GED or one year previous job experience required in lieu of high school diploma/GED. 
  • Prior restaurant or food service experience is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred. 
  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions in order to successfully complete food service duties.
  • Ability to use food service equipment. 
  • Prior job experience preferred.
