Description
- The
overall function of the Clinical Director is to assist the Chief of
Neonatology to coordinate the delivery of specialty care to all patients
as needed and to administer the Division of Neonatology in the
Department of Pediatrics in compliance with standards and regulations
set forth by JCAHO and other regulatory agencies.
- Provides administrative oversight of the entire breadth of clinical activities in the NICU.
- Provides administrative oversight of the medical residents, neonatal nurse practitioner, student nurse and allied health professional training programs affiliated with the NICU.Represents the NICU on multiple hospital committees and serves as critical liaison between the NICU, the pediatric medical staff and outside agencies
- Non-Tenure track for Assistant or Associate Professor-level Faculty
- Regular – Full Time status

Qualifications
- Candidate must have completed a Neonatal-Perinatal Fellowship program and be Board Certified in Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine
- Seeking an individual with previously demonstrated leadership abilities
- Must be qualified for a medical license in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
