Description

Do you have prior inventory or warehouse experience?  If so, you may be a good fit for a Temporary Warehouser on our UPMC Corporate Supply Chain team.  This position offers a Monday through Friday work schedule at our main warehouse in Warrendale, PA.


As a temporary Warehouser, you will manage all tasks associated with the movement of supplies and equipment throughout the UPMC Health System facilities. In addition, you will provide verification of orders, packing slips, bills of lading, and the routing of all inbound and outbound materials.

Responsibilities:
  • Receive, inspect, and verify the accuracy of all inbound freight. 
  • Demonstrate working knowledge of the department's inventory and receiving modules. 
  • Load and unload delivery vehicles at specified locations throughout the UPMC Health System. 
  • Fill stores requisitions, stock shelves, and participates in physical inventories. 
  • Process the general shipping of all outbound freight.  
  • Manage all distribution centers equipment is properly maintained. 
  • Contributes to achieving overall warehouse goals in Cost, Quality and Productivity as set forth by current standards. 
  • Ensures proper technique is utilized in repackaging and/or staging of product for delivery to hospitals to ensure minimal product loss and damage. 
  • Ensures customer service levels are met by maintaining the scheduled delivery times at respective UPMC facilities.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma / GED.
