Description
UPMC Health Plan is seeking a full-time Mailroom Coordinator to support the Mail Services Department at the US Steel Tower in Downtown Pittsburgh!
This role will allow you to assist the UPMC Health Plan and its customers (members, providers, facilities, etc.) by providing prompt processing and fulfillment of member literature, provider information, benefit information, payment information, and general information from the UPMC Health Plan.
Responsibilities:
- Coordination, set up and fulfillment of the UPMC Health Plan kits/mailings.
- Respond to and fulfill requests from Internal Customers.
- Manage, track and organize all incoming mailings.
- Provide quality and accurate outcomes that meet expected deadlines/turnaround times
- Effectively prioritize and complete all assigned tasks
- Coordinate and track all documents utilized by and/or for the department including mail.
- Enter and maintain documents in files and/or computer databases.Respond to inquiries and release authorized information as directed.
- Assist with inventory control as directed by supervisor.Performs in accordance with system-wide competencies/behaviors.
- Performs other duties as assigned.Communicate effectively and regularly with other staff, supervisor's, managers, and director
- Sort and deliver mail to appropriate staff member and/or department.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to work independently or in a team setting.
- Possess basic analytical skills necessary to evaluate customer inquires.
- Good organizational skills.
- Proficiency in typing required.
- Physical Effort and Demands and/or Working Conditions.
- Ability to lift boxes and arrange materials.
- Computer skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Access preferred.
