Job Summary:

UPMC Corporate is looking for a Business Solutions Analyst Associate to join our team!  The Business Solutions Team plays a critical role in defining and driving strategic, operational, and technical improvements across Talent Acquisition.  This candidate will support strategic operational projects by providing data via data analysis, process mapping and design, and project coordination.  In addition, they will manage our service accounts to ensure responses are provided in a timely manner.

  • Assist in the team's organization against key initiatives by maintaining project trackers and key decision matrices.
  • Monitor candidate help mailboxes and distribute complex inquiries to the appropriate staff members.
  • Perform statistical analyses as requested and communicate findings to a non-technical audience.
  • Utilize appropriate software (Visio, PowerPoint, etc.) to visualize concepts and process maps for the purpose of communicating ideas to non-technical audiences.
  • Assist with the documentation of business requirements.
  • Assist in testing new processes/technical changes.


  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Statistics, Information Technology, Mathematics or a related field. 
  • MBA is preferred.
  • One year of experience with recruitment technology, data analysis, or business process design. 
  • Basic Excel skills required.

Licensure, Certifications, and Clearances:
  • Act 34 Criminal Clearance
