Description

Pinnacle Health Medical Services seeks a Pulmonary Critical Care Physician to provide outpatient and inpatient consultation services for diagnosis and treatment of respiratory diseases/issues; consult with patients to determine the appropriate course of treatment; recommend and order tests to determine extent of illness or help diagnose position; work directly with ICU nurse manager, ICU Internal Medicine residents, UPMC Pinnacle Intensivist, and ICU APPs around team based rounding to maintain timely best practice models.

 

Job Responsibilities: 

 

-          Provide outpatient and inpatient consultation services for diagnosis and treatment of respiratory diseases/issues

-          Consult with patients to determine the appropriate course of treatment

-          Recommend and order tests to determine extent of illness or help diagnose position

-          Work directly with ICU nurse manager, ICU Internal Medicine residents, UPMC Pinnacle Intensivist, and ICU APPs around team based rounding to maintain timely best practice models.


Qualifications

- Medical degree or equivalent;

- Must be Board Certified or Board Eligible for certification in Critical Care Medicine;

- Must have a valid PA medical license or eligibility for licensure
