UPMC Hillman Cancer Center is currently hiring Patient Service Coordinators and Medical Assistants. These positions will provide clinical support to the 2nd floor of the Hillman.Applicants will be placed in the appropriate job title and salary based on their individual experience and education.
The Medical Assistant will be responsible for assisting physicians with various aspects of patient care (including clerical, environmental, and organizational tasks) ensuring patient satisfaction.
The Patient Service Coordinator is an advanced Medical Assistant type role. They will be responsible for managing the clinic and providing outstanding customer service to all patients and families.

Qualifications
Medical Assistant:- High school diploma or equivalent is required.
- Successful completion of Medical Assistant program preferred or equivalent hospital program or minimum of one year of direct patient care experience.
Licensure, Certifications, and Clearances:
CPR required based on AHA standards that include both a didactic and skills demonstration component within 30 days of hire.

Patient Service Coordinator:
- High School graduate or equivalent required.
- Minimum of three years of direct patient care and or phlebotomy experience.
Licensure, Certifications, and Clearances:
Medical Assistant or Phlebotomy licensure preferred. CPR required based on AHA standards that include both a didactic and skills demonstration component within 30 days of hire
