Manages a portfolio of individual annual fund donors to cultivate increased and sustained giving to assist in growing the pipeline of major gift donors. Responsible for coordinating all fundraising efforts connected with special volunteer driven annual giving campaigns such as the employee campaign, the United Way campaign and the medical staff campaign.

  • Work closely with data services to maintain a consistent and reliable accounting of annual giving progress that details results towards all established quantitative benchmarks.
  • Engage electronic screening results as they are available in the selective targeting of higher potential annual donors who are capable of contributing $1,000 or more on an annual basis.
  • Provide staff support to the appropriate volunteer committees for annual solicitations and special campaigns.
  • Attend annual Hospital and departmental fire/safety and infection control training and maintain current knowledge of safety procedures within the Hospital and department.
  • Prepare a detailed fiscal year plan to meet appropriate cultivation and solicitation goals of prospect portfolio and special annual campaign initiatives.
  • Solicit those prospects assigned personally.
  • Participate actively in developing strategies for marketing the donor recognition programs such as LeMoyne Society and Circle of Care.
  • Improve and/or support others in improving the health and well being of all children through excellence in patient care, teaching and research.
  • Will coordinate efforts with the major gift team to identify, cultivate and solicit annual fund donors.
  • Manage a portfolio of individual annual fund donors/prospects with a giving potential of up to $25,000.
  • Prepare reports and make presentations as necessary to inform and motivate annual fund leaders.
  • Manage, promote, and grow internal CHPCares employee/physician giving campaign as program lead generating increased revenue and engagement through participation in various programs and events throughout the year.
  • Serve as main liaison between hospital and foundation managing presentations, programs, and monthly meetings with division chiefs and key internal staff in an effort to increase partnership and engagement through giving, fundraising, and encouraging patient family referrals.
  • Create, implement, and promote a patient family program aimed at increasing the number of patient families engaging with hospital and foundation. Focus will be placed on partnering and education hospital staff and physicians in generating referrals of families wanting to give back.
  • Work with other Foundation teams to identify, acquire, increase, and retain mid-level donors wanting to give in support of pediatric research through membership in our research donor society. Cultivate donors throughout the year and manage logistics associated with annual Grant makers event/meeting.
  • Partner with prospect management and research team to actively manage a small portfolio of individual donors/prospects in key audiences (employees, physicians, mid-level donors, and patient families) with giving potential of up to $25,000. Develop strategies and create a full year plan to solicit and cultivate assigned prospects through personal asks, presentations, campaigns, events, and programs.
  • Work with manager to track and manage programs that bring larger Community Engagement & Annual Giving team towards goals of increasing individual response and donor retention, amplifying campaigns and messages in community, acquiring donors into organization, and cultivating them up the pipeline into major gifts.


  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications or related area and 3 years of experience required. 
  • Experience in non-profit organizations; healthcare organization preferred.
  • Project Management experience preferred.

  • Act 31 Child Abuse Reporting
  • Act 33 with renewal
  • Act 34 with renewal
  • Act 73 FBI Clearance
