Purpose:
Team Leaders will be assigned to multiple sites and with the support and oversight of the COVID Collection Site Manager and will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of those site. Work as a unit to provide assistance to other sites when a problem arises. Team Leaders will have a blend of management duties (50-75%) and clinical duties (25-50%) which will vary according to the needs of the business each week.

The schedule for this position will be from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and travel to other sites as needed

Responsibilities:

  • Counsels and disciplines staff as needed in accordance with policies.
  • Coordinates with the Clinic Coordinator as needed regarding maintenance issues throughout the building and on the property grounds.
  • Supervises cleaning of the building by the staff
  • Conducts walk-walk through to ensure general order throughout the building.
  • Communicates with other sites for sharing supplies
  • Manages office, clinical and janitorial supplies at assigned location.
  • Reviews workers compensation cases and e-screen national accounts to identify any new potential occupational medicine partner companies.
  • Reviews the billing for each occupational medicine patient seen to ensure accuracy and coordinate with the Billing department on any issues.
  • Makes site visits as needed or as requested by partner companies.
  • Addresses questions, complaints, and concerns from our partner companies.
  • Maintains occupational medicine protocols at all sites for our partner companies.
  • Educates the staff as needed regarding new protocols or changes in existing protocols.
  • Works with new companies to establish occupational medicine protocols
  • Maintains records of holiday scheduling.
  • Maintains records to reflect call-offs and call-ins.
  • Completes the on-call schedule as required by each department.
  • Completes the schedule for Medical Assistants, Reception and Radiology Technicians and enter into the scheduling program one month in advance.
  • Conduct regular staff meetings
  • Notifies the Clinic Coordinator of the completed evaluations and any increase in hourly rate of pay.
  • Coordinates and/or completes the evaluations, providing counseling and constructive criticism where needed
  • Ensures that all team members have completed a self-evaluation
  • Reviews and summarizes peer evaluations
  • Notifies all team members regarding pending evaluations
  • Maintains records for when team members are due for evaluations
  • Coordinates and/or participates in interviews
  • Performs initial phone interviews and schedules follow-up interviews when appropriate
  • Reviews and manages resumes
  • Collaborates with the Medical Director to determine appropriate staffing levels
  • Ensures proper staffing levels at each site daily, including managing on-call staff.
  • Provides disciplinary action when needed in accordance with the standards of behavior.
  • Provides on-going, useful, objective and constructive input to staff members.
  • Clearly communicates and monitors new processes in the clinic.
  • Maintains efficient levels of medical and office supplies.
  • Provides first level of support as a patient services representative in regards to complaints.
  • Distributes new information to staff as communicated by Medical Director or Management.
  • Ensures compliance with policies and procedures.
  • First level of authority for team members.
  • Travel to support other sites as needed
  • Compensation:
    • Min. Rate  $20.05     Mid. Rate $24.06     Max Rate $30.08

 

Qualifications

  • Experience as a Clinical Assistant or Medical Assistant.
  • Proficiency in electronic medical records in healthcare setting.
  • Basic computer skills. 
  • Certification to perform BAT and UDS.

    Licensure, Certifications, and Clearances:
    Clearances must be dated within 90 days

  • Act 33 with renewal
  • Act 34 with renewal
  • Act 73 FBI Clearance with renewal
