Job Description/Summary/Objectives: Pinnacle Health Medical Services seeks a Critical Care Physician to provide inpatient services to critically ill patients.
Work locations: UPMC Pinnacle Harrisburg Campus, 111 South Front Street, Harrisburg, PA 17101; UPMC Pinnacle Community Osteopathic Campus, 4300 Londonderry Road, Harrisburg, PA 17109; UPMC Pinnacle West Shore Campus, 1995 Technology Parkway, Mechanicsburg, PA 17050; UPMC Carlisle, 361 Alexander Spring Road, Carlisle, PA 17015; and UPMC Memorial, 1701 Innovation Drive, York, PA 17408.
Job Responsibilities:
Diagnose a wide variety of clinical problems representing the extreme of human disease and work as a member of a coordinated care team, either as the primary care provider or a consultant, treating a broad range of conditions common amount critically ill patients, with technological procedures and devices used in intensive care settings, and in areas such as end-of-life decisions, advance directives, estimating prognosis, and counseling of patients and their families.
Qualifications
M.D. (or advanced degree equivalent);
Successful completion of an ACGME/AOA Accredited residency training program in Internal Medicine;
Completion of a fellowship in either Pulmonary or Critical Care;
Must have a valid PA medical license or eligibility for licensure.
