Description

Purpose:
The Student Worker will be assigned to the Dietary Department.  This is an entry level position for High School or College Students who are looking for part time positions.  The schedule for this position is from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on weekdays and from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. or 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on weekends.    

Responsibilities:  

• Prepares tray tickets for food assembly according to workflow procedures in the operation. 
• Delivers meals to patients
• Cleaning and sanitizing dishware, including equipment and food production areas.
• Maintain safe food production and service areas.
• The successful candidate will interact with other employees and provide assistance for routine tasks.
• Perform routine tasks under the guidance of the department manager and supervisor.
  

Qualifications

• Current enrollment in a High School program, equivalent, or higher, required.
• The candidate will have a working knowledge of the Microsoft system.
• Related experience to the program/study/research is preferred.
• Candidate should have an interest in field of study.
• The successful candidate must be able to work within a team environment under direct supervision. 
• The candidate must possess the ability to interact effectively with all levels of staff. 
  
  Licensure, Certifications, and Clearances:
  Clearances must be dated within 90 days.
