Job Description/Summary/Objectives:
University of Pittsburgh Physicians located at U. S. Steel Tower, 57th Floor, 600 Grant Street, Pittsburgh, PA 15219, seeks an Orthopedic Surgeon to specialize in diagnosing, treating, and repairing injuries, disorders and diseases affecting the musculoskeletal system, examine patients, obtain medical history, and perform diagnostic tests, such as x-rays, and treat conditions of the bones, joints, muscles, tendons, ligaments, nerves and skin.
Job Responsibilities:
- Diagnosing, treating, and repairing injuries, disorders and diseases affecting the
musculoskeletal system
- Examine patients
- Obtain medical history
- Order and interpret x-rays, order other clinical tests,
- Treat conditions of the bones, joints, muscles, tendons, ligaments, nerves and skin.
Qualifications
Requires a Medical Degree or its equivalent
- Applicant must have completed an Orthopedic Medical Residency (U. S. or foreign)
- Applicant must have completed an Orthopedic Subspecialty Fellowship.
- Applicant must have valid Ohio Medical License.
