Job Description/Summary/Objectives:
University of Pittsburgh Physicians located at U. S. Steel Tower, 57th Floor, 600 Grant Street, Pittsburgh, PA 15219, seeks a Community Pathologist to analyze samples of tissue and cells to aid in determining the diagnosis and cause of diseases; surgical samples, biopsies, and fine needle aspirations/cytology are to be reviewed for diagnostic interpretation; patient information/history and diagnostic results will be added to all accessioned cases in Copath; will rotate through different service routines as required and may be assigned to cover service at other Community locations as needed based on vacation or other vacancies in the coverage schedule. Travel to worksites within 25 miles.
Job Responsibilities:
- Analyze samples of tissue and cells to aid in determining the diagnosis and cause of diseases

Qualifications
- Requires a Medical Degree or its equivalent
- Applicant must have completed four years of post-graduate medical training in Anatomic or Clinical Pathology
- Applicant must hold a valid Pennsylvania Medical License
