Description
As the Accounting Analyst, Intermediate, you will provide for the moderately complex accounting and analytical activities associated with maintaining general accounts and developing financial statements and reports. Assist with the preparation of annual budgets and regular forecasts and projections. Responsibilities:

Coordinate administrative tasks, special projects and training programs as assigned.

Act as a resource for entry-level accountants or administrative staff.

Prepare general ledger account reconciliations for designated accounts. Propose correcting entries.

Interpret financial transactions and events for users who must make economic or business decisions.

Prepares reconciliation of actual to budget variance analysis.

Prepare and post moderately complex monthly journal entries.

Create accounting analytics for internal and external reporting requirements.
Qualifications
-
Bachelor's degree in accounting or related business field required.

Minimum of one year of related work experience required.CPA/MBA preferred.

Experience with Microsoft Office with an emphasis on spreadsheet application and PeopleSoft General Ledger proficiency preferred.
