Description

Supervise the entire delivery process, including all Dispatchers and Patient Delivery Representatives. Assist with the coordination and communication between clinical and operations staff for accurate/timely patient deliveries.

 

This position will require the employee to be flexible with scheduling, as it will entail days/evenings and occasional weekends.

 



Responsibilities:

  • Maintain daily delivery statistics to track all deliveries.
  • Ensure that infection control procedures are followed when handling equipment/supplies for patient delivery and pick-up.
  • Maintains and ensure that vehicles are safe, clean, and ready for drivers use.
  • Handle client complaints in a fair and empathetic manner.
  • Give high priority to client satisfaction and customer needs.
  • Maintain confidentiality of information.
  • Manage safe operation and cost of all maintenance for company vehicles.
  • Assist with development of annual department budget.
  • Display a neat, clean, professional appearance at all times.
  • Pick/package and deliver medication and supplies as needed.
  • Supervise and/or direct shipping and delivery of goods, and maintenance of warehouse and delivery vehicles.
  • Assist with the coordination and communication between clinical and operations staff for accurate/timely patient deliveries.
  • Maintain all records from courier and other outside contracted delivery services for accuracy and correct billing.
  • Coordinate and supervise delivery activities effectively and efficiently.
  • Promote Chartwell culture by providing quality, comprehensive services to all customers through a team approach.
  • Communicate with others in a warm and helpful manner while simultaneously building credibility and rapport.
  • Act as a resource for all departments regarding delivery information.
  • Negotiate all vehicle maintenance services with vendors.
  • Exhibit an attitude that promotes harmony and goodwill among clients and co-workers.

 

Qualifications

  • High school diploma.
  • 1-2 years supervisory experience a well as experience in warehouse or delivery operations.
  • Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.
  • Detail oriented with good organizational and communication skills.
