Description

As a Lead Data Coordinator & Analyst you will provide leadership through education and oversight of department data coordinators.  You will also gather, enter, and ensure the accuracy of data. Work closely with internal and external customers to ensure data is accurate and in compliance with regulatory standards

Responsibilities:
  • Update database with any changes to existing information.
  • Oversee data coordinators and dashboards for all department services
  • Develop dashboards and executive data reports
  • Document procedures for department.
  • Run weekly and monthly QC reports to check data accuracy.
  • In coordination with Quality Improvement Specialist ensure that all programmatic data gathered for QA/PI efforts is timely and accurate
  • Serve as department resource for regulatory information.
  • Ensure confirmation and audit reports are submitted on time. Assembles and verifies data from a variety of sources for input into the database.
  • Assemble and verify data from a variety of sources for input into the database.
  • Coordinate service related information into the database and ensure that current documentation is accurate and on file at all times.
  • Protect the integrity and confidentiality of all data and information through quality control processes, as well as physical and electronic measures. 
  • Assure quality of information through business case and application level testing; validates test results to initial business needs.
  • Provide support for special projects and assignments. Research, analyze, and summarize information and source materials for reports. 
  • Prepare data on projects and studies, such as updating procedure manuals or analyzing department activities and performing Quality Control checks on database/patient information.
  • Set up and maintain various department manual and computerized filing systems, particularly confidential files, in accordance with department procedures or record keeping requirements. 
  • Enter, update, and retrieve information stored in files and databases; customize special reports.
  • Attend and participate in various in-service training, external training workshops, conferences and other relevant programs for professional growth and development.
  • Accurately enter data from a variety of sources into the database.
  • Acts as security administrator for patient/physician portal for abdominal transplant.
  • Assist with clinical operations by triaging/collecting patient information, creating tracking mechanisms for patient referrals and attending clinics on an as needed basis.
  • Provide support for on-site audits (UNOS, IMS, etc.)

Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in Health related field, Information Systems or related field or equivalent work experience.  
  • 3 years experience as a data coordinator
  • Computer knowledge required. 
  • Transferable Leadership Skills
  • Excellent Time Management Skills

Licensure, Certifications, and Clearances:
  • Act 31 Child Abuse Reporting
  • Act 33 with renewal
  • Act 34 with renewal
  • Act 73 FBI Clearance
