Description
The Program Supervisor will oversee five MYCS employees. Will be responsible for administrative and clinical leadership and direction of the program. This includes the conceptualization, organization, and implementation of the program. Responsible for coordinating the overall direction of the assigned program in collaboration with all other supervisors.Responsibilities:
- Conducts all hiring, promotions, and disciplinary action for program staff.
- Conduct interviews with candidates and review potential employees with a Human Resources representative.
- Defines annual strategic goals, which coincide with the mission of the service line.
- Demonstrates compliance with Program and Institute policies and procedures. Develops outcome procedures demonstrating program effectiveness.
- Conducts individual evaluations of staff performance within the set time period.
- Oversee, direct, and coordinate all day-to-day functions of the program. Manage both clinical and administrative issues related to service delivery with other Program staff.
- Manage programmatic issues related to all services. Monitor and manage all cases that are either entering or are currently in services.
- Supervise training and orientation to all new staff and ongoing training to current employees as per Regulations.
- Conducts an evaluation of program goals from previous year, identifying accomplishments and areas of need to be used in strategic planning for the next fiscal year.
- Provide clinical/administrative supervision to other program staff as needed on a weekly basis.
- Manage and oversee the flow of clinical paperwork related to service delivery.
- Provides or coordinates effective group training and individual supervision for all program staff.
- Participate in meetings and outside agency meetings as deemed necessary by supervisor.
- Monitor program productivity on a regular basis.
- Work directly with the Department of Human Resources (HR) to screen candidates for positions within the program.
- Work collaboratively with Manager/Director to develop and expand the program to meet the needs of the target population as it corresponds to the overall vision of MYCS
- Develops, monitors, and maintains the Program within the proposed budget
Qualifications
- Bachelors Degree in a human services field with a minimum of 3 years experience in a behavioral health setting.
- At least two years supervisory experience preferred.
- Clinical experience in a behavioral health setting with knowledge of psychiatric assessment, diagnosis, family, individual and group treatment.
