UPMC Home Health is hiring a Sr. Compliance Manager!

Responsibilities:

  • Performs auditing and monitoring activities, provides trend analysis and develops education/training programs for the organization.
  • Serves as a consultant/liaison for clinical operations and other internal departments. Assists in the facilitation of patient care integration and coordination, according to the Conditions of Participation, Joint Commission standards, and defined policies and procedures.
  • Provision of reports and analysis related to all aspects of operations and the revenue cycle.
  • Provides overall direction and co-ordination of the organizations compliance program.
  • Interfaces with UPMC's Ethics and Compliance Office, Office of Patient and Consumer Privacy (OPCP) and Risk Management Department.
  • Focuses on customer service and continually strives to perform the duties of their job in a manner that will result in optimal patient satisfaction
  • Performs duties and job responsibilities in a fashion which coincides with the service management philosophy of the organization towards patients, visitors, staff, peers, physicians and other departments within the organization.
  • Identifies, develops and participates in process improvement opportunities within the organization that will enhance the quality and outcomes of the services we provide.

Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree required
  • Masters degree preferred
  • Minimum three (3) years home health experience required
  • Minimum three (3) years management experience required
  • Demonstrated knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid and commercial insurance reimbursement required
  • Demonstrated knowledge and proficiency with OASIS and Outcomes required
  • Demonstrated knowledge and proficiency with information systems required
  • Demonstrated knowledge of Home Health, Hospice and Home Care regulations preferred
  • Oasis certification preferred


Licensure, Certifications, and Clearances:

  • Automotive Insurance
  • Driver's License
  • Registered Nurse (RN)
