Description
This exciting opportunity is part of the IMS (Identity Management System) team within the IAS group and will work under direct supervision of the management and more senior members of the team. UPMC's IMS team is a home grown Identity Management System which originated more than a decade ago. It facilitates a portal for requesting application access for core apps like Network, Email and other Clinical Applications for all staff at UPMC. The position will be a daytime, regular hours and will conduct development for new and existing web technologies while partly contributing time for support and analysis.

Qualifications

Typically has 2+ years of related work experience
-
Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a similar field.

Knowledge of REACT tools including React.js, Webpack, and Redux.

Proficiency with C# or similar object-oriented programming
-
In-depth knowledge of JavaScript, CSS, HTML and front-end languages.

Knowledge of REACT tools including React.js, Webpack, and Redux.

Experience with user interface design.

Experience with unit testing, Git, Github, and other DevOps and CI/CD tools

Experience with browser-based debugging and performance testing software.

Proficiency with SQL and Relational databases

Ability to work independently and in a team based environment Proficient in both oral and written communication
Preferred Qualifications:

Previous experience working as a React.js Developer

Familiarity with Active Directory

Experience using Azure Cloud for SaaS

Experience creating and/or consuming REST APIs

Experience with .NET Core

Knowledge of Agile principles and methodologies

Experience with Build/Release pipeline experience
