Description

UPMC Western Maryland seeks a Pulmonary and Critical Care Physician to provide outpatient and inpatient consultation services for diagnosis and treatment of respiratory diseases/issues; diagnose and treat a wide variety of clinical problems representing the extreme of human disease and work as a member of a coordinated care team, either as the primary care provider or a consultant; treat a broad range of conditions common among critically ill patients, with technological procedures and devices used in intensive care settings, and in areas such as end-of-life decisions, advance directives, estimating prognosis, and counseling of patients and their families; perform multiple lifesaving procedures, Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation, Endotracheal Intubation, bronchoscopy, and endobronchial Ultrasound.

 

Job Responsibilities:

Qualifications

Must have M.D. degree or foreign degree equivalent; B/C in Internal Medicine, Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine; full and unrestricted Maryland Medical license.
