Description
Responsibilities:
- Ensures that residents rights to fair and equitable treatment are well established and maintained at all times. Meets with residents and/or family members to review and address any grievances or concerns.
- Provides administrative oversight for The Laurels.
- Coordinates and directs all functions of the services and facilities. Ensures safety, quality care and services for residents.
- Collaborates and interacts with other service leaders in the organization for strategic planning, integrating service lines and providing a vision and objectives for creating a mission driven culture of quality and care.
- Defines and implements new services to meet organizational, regional, resident and referral needs. Sets strategic objectives for senior services.
- Works with marketing and public relations to develop plans and promote services.
- Promotes involvement with community organizations to help promote community understanding of services.
- Ensures compliance with all regulatory agencies governing long term care delivery by continually monitoring the operations and its programs.
- Developments and implements the budget and is responsible for producing revenue and managing costs.
- Acts as a liaison with contractual agencies.
Qualifications
Bachelors in healthcare or related field required. Five years experience in an administrative capacity required.Licensure, Certifications, and Clearances:
Licensed Nursing Home Administrator in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania Required, or has obtained temporary practice permit and will complete NHA license within one year.
