Description
UPMC Western Maryland seeks a Critical Care Physician in Cumberland, MD to diagnose and treat a wide variety of clinical problems representing the extreme of human disease and work as a member of a coordinated care team, either as the primary care provider or a consultant; treat a broad range of conditions common among critically ill patients, with technological procedures and devices used in intensive care settings, and in areas such as end-of-life decisions, advance directives, estimating prognosis, and counseling of patients and their families; perform multiple lifesaving procedures, Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation, Endotracheal Intubation, and intensive monitoring.
Job Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and treat a wide variety of clinical problems representing the extreme of human disease
- Work as a member of a coordinated care team, either as the primary care provider or a consultant
- Treat a broad range of conditions common among critically ill patients, with technological procedures and devices used in intensive care settings, and in areas such as end-of-life decisions, advance directives, estimating prognosis, and counseling of patients and their families
- Perform multiple lifesaving procedures, Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation, Endotracheal Intubation, and intensive monitoring
Qualifications
-Medical degree
-Must have completed a residency in Internal Medicine
-Must have completed a fellowship in Critical Care Medicine
-Valid Maryland medical license
