Description

Purpose:
This entry level position provides basic data entry and/or clerical support for the project managers in the Construction Management Department.  The hours are as needed between 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. and the work location is at UPMC Pinnacle Harrisburg.  The job pays $15.00 hourly.

Responsibilities:

  • The successful candidate will have an interest in architecture, engineering, construction management or project management and will interact with construction project managers
  • Attend Construction Progress Meetings with PM as Owner’s Rep 
  • Conduct walkthroughs and Site Visits as Needed on Construction sites 
  • Assist PM in Cost estimating potential projects and budget creation 
  • Assist PM with data entry for projects using eBuilder software 
  • Assist PM managing PO’s and Tracking product deliveries of Vendors and Contractors  
  • Assist PM creating Construction Schedules and Project Forecasting
  • Perform routine tasks under the guidance of the department manager/supervisor.

 

Qualifications

  • Current enrollment in a High School program, equivalent, or higher, required.
  • The candidate will have a working knowledge of the Microsoft system.
  • Related experience to the program/study/research is preferred.
  • Candidate should have an interest in field of study.
  • The successful candidate must be able to work within a team environment under direct supervision.
  • The candidate must possess the ability to interact effectively with all levels of staff.
  • The candidate must be able to perform routine tasks under the guidance of senior staff.


Licensure, Certifications, and Clearances:
Clearances must be dated within 90 days
 

  • Act 33 with renewal
  • Act 34 with renewal
  • Act 73 FBI Clearance with renewal
