Description

UPMC Pinnacle is seeking a full-time general surgeon to join our experienced team of seven surgeons. The ideal surgeon will enjoy a rewarding opportunity that incorporates both clinical and teaching opportunities.  New graduates are encouraged to apply.

Practice Summary:

•    Opportunity to perform a variety of general surgical procedures, including laparoscopy and colonoscopy
•    Access to state of the art technology such as Da Vinci Robot Xi
•    Options to perform surgeries or procedures in the hospital setting, surgery centers or office 
•    Opportunity to teach general surgery and internal medicine residents
•    Practice located in a new, modern and aesthetically pleasing suite with three procedure rooms, 12 exam rooms, lab station, etc.
•    System-wide EPIC EMR

Qualifications

  • Board certified/Board eligible
  • Experience in laparoscopic and robotic surgeries preferred
  • Completed General Surgery residency training in an ACGME accredited residency program
  • General Surgery experience as well as use of laparoscopy and colonoscopy
  • Team oriented with ability to work and interact with residents, fellow physicians and administration, as well as provide high-quality, compassionate care to patients
