Description

The UPMC Jameson School of Nursing at UPMC Hamot is looking for a part-time Enrollment Specialist to join the team!  The School of Nursing is slated to open in Fall 2021.  

 

Purpose:
Administers the student financial aid program at the UPMC schools of nursing. Provides financial aid and assistance to eligible students and maintains financial aid records.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for paperwork creation related to the origination and disbursement of financial aid for all current students who request Financial Aid
  • Completes special projects and assignments as directed.
  • Assists with the recruitment activities for the schools through attendance of Information sessions or answer individual questions from potential students
  • Assists current and graduating students with payment plans
  • First point of contact for current and incoming students with questions pertaining to financial aid
  • Contacts current and incoming students about Financial Aid missing/incomplete documents, follow-ups with students as needed
  • tarts and maintains financial aid records on paper and within the CampusVue Student Information System

 

Qualifications

  • High School Degree or related is required.
  • Post-secondary Education administration experience is required.
  • Knowledge of computers and ability to assist others with computer use is required.
