COVID-19 Vaccination Information

Across UPMC, our guiding principle is to always prioritize the safety of our employees, patients, and members. UPMC believes that vaccination is important, helps protect all, and advocates that everyone who can be vaccinated should be vaccinated.

UPMC complies with all governmental requirements related to local, state, and federal COVID-19 vaccination for employment. The Jan. 13 Supreme Court of the United States decision that the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services federal COVID-19 vaccine mandate will move forward requires UPMC to ensure employees either get vaccinated or receive a requested medical or religious exemption.

If you are not yet vaccinated, we urge you to get a vaccine now. You can schedule your COVID-19 vaccination through UPMC or visit a non-UPMC provider or UPMC Urgent Care location.

Proof of vaccination is not required upon hire; however, employees will be responsible for ensuring post-hire compliance by getting vaccinated or requesting a medical or religious exemption.

Description

UPMC Health Plan's Clinical Operations Department is seeking a Temporary Service Coordinator Associate- LTSS! Apply today!


- Supports service coordination team in outreach to Members telephonically
- Researches and assists in finding hard-to-find Members
- Assists in coordinating social services for Members including referrals to Community organizations as requested by
 Service Coordinator
- Utilizes information systems to build, research and enter Member information, As needed.
- Supports the development and implementation of Member Care/Service Plans
- Works in conjunction with the Service Coordinator to initiate, and revise Member Care Plans as needed.
- Promotes communication, both internally and externally, to enhance effectiveness of service coordination services (e.g.,
 health care providers, And health care team members respectively). 

 

Qualifications

- High School Diploma Strongly Preferred
- Post-secondary education is preferred
- One year of administrative support working experience is highly preferred
- Must have proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite: Excel, Word, Outlook and Power Point
- Must possess typing skills and working knowledge of word processing, electronic mail/calendar and spreadsheets
- Must possess the ability to learn and effectively use various software programs
- General knowledge and experience with office equipment such as copiers, multi-line phone systems, fax machines and
 paging system 

Licensure, Certifications, and Clearances:

Act 34 Criminal Clearance or Act 34 Criminal Clearance with Renewal
