We're hiring full-time Warehouse workers to join our UPMC Corporate Supply Chain team! Both permanent and temporary positions may be available depending on business needs. If you have prior warehouse experience or are looking to start your career within our supply chain, this could be a perfect opportunity for you!
As a full-time Warehouse employee, you'll support our Consolidated Service Center Department in Warrendale, PA.   The schedule for this position is (4) 10-hour daylight shifts, Monday through Friday.  However, the shifts may change to evening or night if needed by the department.  Perks of this position include free parking and a rewarding supply chain career ladder!
The Warehouser will manage all tasks associated with the movement of supplies and equipment throughout the UPMC Health System facilities, vendors, and other outside parties. In addition, the Warehouser will provide verification of orders, packing slips, bills of lading, and the routing of all inbound and outbound materials.

  • Receive, inspect, and verify the accuracy of all inbound freight. 
  • Demonstrate working knowledge of the department's inventory and receiving modules. 
  • Load and unload delivery vehicles at specified locations throughout the UPMC Health System. 
  • Deliver all materials and or equipment to requesting customers in a timely and professional manner. 
  • Comply with all local, cities, and state traffic regulations while operating UPMC vehicles. 
  • Fill stores requisitions, stock shelves, and participates in physical inventories. 
  • Process the general shipping of all outbound freight. 
  • Maintain effective communication through the hospital paging system as required. 
  • Maintain a professional attitude during all interactions with hospital personnel, patients, and visitors. 
  • Manage all distribution centers equipment is properly maintained. 
  • Contributes to achieving overall warehouse goals in Cost, Quality, and Productivity as set forth by current standards. 
  • Ensures proper technique is utilized in repackaging and/or staging of product for delivery to hospitals to ensure minimal product loss and damage. 
  • Ensures customer service levels are met by maintaining the scheduled delivery times at respective UPMC facilities. 
  • Ensures customer service levels are met by delivering product damage-free and placed in proper designated secure areas. 
  • Ensures returned products, totes, and pallets are picked up and returned daily to the designated areas in the warehouse. 
  • All assigned receipts are completed each day, contributing to a receiving department goal of zero overtime.  


  • High school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Ability to follow written and oral instructions.
  • Ability to handle heavy material using manual and mechanized material handling equipment.
  • Ability to lift heavy objects along with no work limitations.
  • Receiving and inventory experience preferred.
  • Good communication skills are required.
