UPMC Corporate is hiring a Billing Coordinator- Revenue Cycle to join our team!  The Billing Coordinator will work Monday through Friday during daylight hours at the Quantum I building.   This person will also have the opportunity for work from home flexibility.  

The Billing Coordinator will be a resource position for the billing office staff in areas including but not limited to: billing, quality, project support, analytics, and payer guidelines.  This person will identify recurring problems and procedural deficiencies and provide solutions to eliminate them. As well as interact with the management team and provide suggestions for process improvement.

We are looking for someone who is experienced in Excel with a background in hospital billing.    Look no further and apply today!

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure timely and accurate Revenue Cycle processes for areas of responsibility.
  • Use root cause analysis of processes resulting in failure to achieve departmental and individual goals. Identify problems, define alternatives and recommend practical and efficient solutions.
  • Maintain departmental productivity levels and compliance with quality standards.
  • Identify areas of utilization improvements and monitor expected outcomes.
  • Complete special projects as assigned.

 

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent and five years of experience in Business Administration, Finance or Accounting OR B.S. degree in related field; Business Administration, Finance, or Accounting preferred
