Description

UPMC Health Plan has an exciting opportunity for a Client Engagement Coordinator in its Marketing Communications department, located in downtown Pittsburgh at the U.S. Steel Tower.  This is a Monday - Friday daylight position that will work in the office 3 days per week with the other 2 days working remotely.

The Client Engagement Coordinator assesses, plans, and executes projects that support sales & retention goals and enhance member experience and satisfaction for UPMC Health Plan Commercial Groups. The Coordinator will plan and execute enrollment materials and member welcome communications. This includes benefit plan designs, closing gaps in care, health promotions, medical management, and member satisfaction communications.  The role supports the account engagement needs throughout the life cycle of the relationship by providing the account managers with meeting materials, PowerPoint slides, report layouts, copies, printer coordination, and document production. Through partnership with the marketing team, materials are prepared with consistency in brand, messaging, and client customization. The Client Engagement Coordinator will develop a tactical plan for all initiatives to ensure that timelines, deadlines and milestones are understood and met.

The ideal candidate will have prior marketing, project management, and/or health insurance experience.

Responsibilities:

  • Create and execute client engagement plans as identified by account management that engage, educate and retain clients, drive demand, and support revenue and business goals.
  • Build and manage the strategic plan and deliverables to retain group clients.
  • Identify and detail appropriate activities that drive sales and support retention
  • Ensure coordination and clear communication among constituents on all activities
  • Support the account managers with meeting and document preparation, production, and delivery
  • Coordinate resources and development activities to meet project objectives both on time and on budget
  • Ensure adequate supplies of all client giveaway items are on hand and available when needed

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in marketing, business development, or sales support required
  • 3 to 5 years' experience in sales, marketing, or account management preferred
  • Healthcare and/or insurance experience preferred
  • Project management experience preferred
  • Excellent interpersonal, organizational, written, and oral communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines concurrently
  • Demonstrated leadership skills, initiative, and ability to work independently
  • Ability to interface with all levels of management
  • Good computer skills.
