Description

Purpose:
The Facilities Coordinator assists Maintenance Leadership in the performance of departmental duties, manages the work order system, supports payroll functions, purchasing activities and administrative support.

Responsibilities:

 

  • Answer incoming departmental calls in a timely and efficient manner addressing their needs providing a high level of customer service.
  • Manage tasks in the Maintenance Work Order System for the department. Ensure orders are dispatched and completed.
  • Coordinate the preventative maintenance schedule with technicians, generate and distribute the schedule(s), amend and track changes as may be required.
  • Assist with daily review of Kronos timekeeping to ensure proper coding of time for staff in preparation for finalization of the pay period end.
  • Accurately enter orders for departmental purchases into Epro System and maintain excel spreadsheet for tracking purchases.
  • Preform administrative duties related to the activities of the Maintenance Department including filing, scanning, copying, typing, data management and productivity measurement tasks.

 

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent required and two years experience in a business environment, secretarial or administrative support role. Continuing education in business skills preferred. Strong computer skills with working knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications along with working knowledge of Microsoft Excel.Ability to work independently and be able to multi-task and prioritize, with demonstrated experience working with deadlines. Excellent communication skills written and verbal with strong customer service skills.
