Senior Director, Clinical Services

Description

Purpose:
Responsible for administrative and clinical oversight for inpatient staff and leaders.

Responsibilities:

 

  • Oversees the development implementation of revisions in the milieu management program in collaboration with the unit leadership and direct supervisor.
  • Actively participates in identification of areas for improvement and works in collaboration with the leadership to implement programmatic revisions. Develops quality measures for program review.
  • Assists in identification of departmental goals for areas of responsibility in both clinical, fiscal and operational domains, and provides accountability for ongoing monitoring and achievement of same goals.
  • Develops clinical dashboards and data measures for assigned areas.
  • Demonstrates the ability to provide behavioral and clinical supervision for the direct care staff and all unit employees. Provides guidance to other program directors in these tasks as well.
  • Participates in evaluating patient satisfaction and assists in developing and implementing recommended actions.
  • Assists in the development and implementation of the hospital and unit policies and procedures.
  • Role models a collaborative approach to supervision and working relationships.
  • Works in collaboration with other directors to maintain and evaluate the clinical care.
  • Participates in specific leadership meetings and coordinates the implementation of administrative, clinical, training and educational decisions in the daily functioning of each program.
  • Assumes leadership role with regards to setting and maintaining institutional standards around staff training practices.
  • Provides oversight and monitoring for regulatory compliance in assigned areas.
  • Represents WPIC in clinical leadership role and as content experts at various corporate workgroups or committees, at various State and Local functions as requested.
  • Provides role modeling and feedback to the direct care staff and other program directors.
  • Provides analysis and ongoing evaluation of direct care services to improve quality of patient care and plan effective utilization of staff time and activities.
  • Develops, conducts and evaluates staff education and training. Strategically plans and oversights the development of these trainings. .
  • -Act as community liaison through developing relationships with community organizations and developing a resource database. -Identifies and organizes focus groups in the community to solicit feedback and identify best practices. -May process and

 

Qualifications

  • Master's degree in human services related field required.
  • Doctoral degree (PhD) in psychology, school psychology, education, nursing or a related field preferred.
  • 5 years of management experience required.
  • Previous experience in a leadership role.
  • Work collaboratively with other staff members specifically demonstrating communication, coordination and organizational skills.


Licensure, Certifications, and Clearances:

  • Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)
  • Act 31 Child Abuse Reporting with renewal
  • Act 33 with renewal
  • Act 34 with renewal
  • Act 73 FBI Clearance with renewal
