Description

UPMC Health Plan is hiring a full-time Campaign Marketing Manager to support the Marketing & Communications Department for its downtown Pittsburgh location at the US Steel Tower.  This is a Monday through Friday daylight position.

The Campaign Marketing Manager is responsible for planning and executing integrated marketing campaigns that support clinical and business goals, enhance member experience and satisfaction and build brand recognition. Campaign managers will collaborate with colleagues within marketing & communications, health management, clinical affairs, and quality improvement across multiple product lines to oversee campaigns that meet strategic goals and objectives. The campaign manager will develop tactical plans, with colleague collaboration, based on the marketing strategy that educates, engages, and retains members.  They will manage campaigns focused on closing gaps in care, pediatric wellness, improving health, access to care, getting flu shots, and more.  The primary responsibilities of this campaign manager will be focused on coordinating, executing, and monitoring campaign planning, implementation, and evaluation processes. Campaign managers will engage with creative services and other channel managers for distribution.  


Responsibilities:

  • Unify marketing strategy and business plans into cohesive tactical campaign plans that internal marketing and/or external creative resources can execute against that will also engage, educate and drive members to appropriate care, and support revenue and business goals.
  • Develop relationships and trust with internal department collaborators as well as internal “client” partners
  • Identify and detail appropriate marketing channels/tactics to achieve business goals and objectives
  • Deliver campaigns on time and within budget
  • Take complex clinical, or similar, information, transfer knowledge to peers and lead efforts to create communications that are easily understood by the general public 
  • Ensure coordination and clear communication, specifically on deadlines, among constituents and stakeholders throughout the course of the campaign.
  • Use feedback and data analytics to support and enhance campaign strategy and direction
  • Continually monitor and analyze campaigns through marketing processes and systems to maximize effectiveness & ROI as well as make recommendations on changes needed.
  • Collaborate with third-party affiliates on development and delivery of marketing collateral & digital communications that educate, inform, and engage members.
  • Routinely attend and/or lead client status meetings, keep stakeholders informed and perform weekly and monthly duties as assigned.

 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, public relations, business or related field.
  • 3 - 5 years of marketing, marketing communications or public relations experience, preferable within an agency setting.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Knowledge of healthcare market.
  • Results-oriented: demonstrated success in overcoming obstacles and launching campaigns on time and on budget.
  • Proven experience and demonstrable results in execution and measuring marketing campaigns.
  • Able to build consensus among various internal and works well as team member.
  • Self-starter; able to work independently with minimal direction.
  • Online/social marketing knowledge a plus.
