UPMC Health Plan is hiring a full-time Digital Product Manager to support the Marketing Communications Department for its downtown Pittsburgh location at the US Steel Tower. This is a Monday through Friday daylight position.

Join us in redefining what a health insurance company can be.UPMC Health Plan is hiring a Digital Product Manager I to collaborate with creative, technical, and business partners to lead the design, implementation, and evolution of the digital properties (portals, apps, and third-party tools) that make our insurance products understandable and usable for our members while meeting revenue and customer satisfaction goals.

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinates day-to-day management with marketing strategists and campaign managers to ensure digital channel updates are consistent with overarching strategy and campaigns. 
  • Conducts ongoing content audit with campaign managers to ensure accuracy of digital properties
  • Serves as platform expert for podcasts, webinars and live digital events, including (but not limited to) YouTube Live, Squadcast, WebEx, Panopto. 
  • Serve as subject matter expert for digital event best practices, strive to master established formats and innovate formats as time goes on
  • Contributes strategic input for digital events channels to be delivered as part of overall digital strategy recommendation
  • Provide consultation as to usage of digital event channel according to audience and desired campaign KPIs
  • Monitors and participates in recording sessions 
  • Manages schedules, including pre-production, day of production and handoff for post-production distribution 
  • Work with creative services team to create content that is appropriate for digital channel(s), creative, concise, tailored to the audience, and consistent with UPMC style rules and brand guidelines
  • Contribute to reporting and analysis of digital events.
  • Fully understand the line of business assigned to in order to produce digital content that is on brand and persuasive to key audience segments 
  • Communicate project status information in a timely manner to appropriate departmental parties throughout all phases of each project.
  • Ensure supporting channels, registration, email, tracking (as a few examples) are aligned
  • Demonstrate service-oriented behavior in interactions with clients and co-workers.
  • Work with marketing technology and marketing intelligence to stay ahead of industry trends and bring new learnings to digital event execution and strategies

 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in MIS, Information Technology, HCI, Business, or equivalent.
  • 1-3 Years experience in Product Management, Business Analysis, Systems Analysis, or related field.
  • Experience working with web, mobile, or other digital product development in a BA, design, PM, or development role.
  • Exposure to project management practices and principles.
  • Experience working across disciplines (IT, Marketing, Sales, etc.) and analyzing stakeholder needs.
  • Ability to apply great ideas from multiple diverse sources to find the best solution to a problem or set of problems.
  • Self-starter with ability to deal with ambiguity and to adapt and embrace change.
  • Skill with computers and mobile devices; able to use and adopt necessary software productivity products and new platforms as needed.
  • Health insurance or healthcare experience preferred.
  • Agile/Scrum exposure as a Product Owner or Scrum Master preferred.
  • Experience with multi-channel digital asset delivery preferred.
  • Analytics/data-driven background preferred.
  • Experience collaborating with diverse groups to create requirements in Job Story (JTBD) format preferred.
