We are looking for a Temporary Health Screener to join our team! Western Psychiatric Hospital is seeking a temporary Health Screener to work days and evening shifts. $15.00 / hour.

This temporary role is a six-month to 12-month long assignment located at UPMC Western Psychiatric Hospital and rotating between day and evening shifts. If you pride yourself on your ability to learn quickly, think innovatively, and be a team player, this is a great opportunity for you!

Responsibilities:

  • Understanding and following entrance screening protocols
  • Asking a series of health-related questions
  • Ensuring appropriate social distancing
  • Ensuring all individuals are screened and wearing a mask prior to them entering the facility
  • Follow guidelines to determine if an individual is clear to enter a facility
  • Greet and assist patient to their destination or department

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma Strongly Preferred. Post-secondary education is preferred.
  • Must be willing to work day and evening shifts, including weekend rotation.
  • Must possess the ability to learn and effectively screen and monitor thermal scanner.

Licensure, Certifications, and Clearances:

  • Act 34 with renewal
